I bought a Gravity FSX 29er (perhaps foolishly) for a donor bike. I cant seem to find a battery of the
size and shape that will fit within the triangle and provide enough range for my proposed rides. There is a
big fat shock mount right in the middle of the triangle that impedes any of the many conventional batteries I can find. I could use a skinnier or shorter battery, but I cant find a vendor for such a battery. Further, I don't know if that's because a much smaller battery just wouldn't work. I am ready to give up and find a different bike. Don't want to spend more than the bike is worth chasing a solution. Thoughts?? Does anyone know why nothing seems to be available from Luna Cycle/
The EM3 ev 15 amp hour rectangle pack fits in this frame. I have built two so far. FSX 19" and Motobecane 17" Have to reverse shock position on both.
You might be able to hang a one of the rectangle battery packs from EM3ev from the top tube in a frame bag. You could probably also put a HaiLong battery on the bottle cage mounts underneath the downtube, but that wouldn't be an ideal solution. Other than that, you could always install a rear rack and mount the battery there.
