I've seen some youtube videos suggesting the BBS02 controller has longevity issues with 52 volt batteries. Is this still true or have the motor controllers been upgraded to handle the extra voltage and amperage of the larger batteries?

I suspect the newer controllers have the upgraded mosfet's. But non the less this is making me think about going with the BBSHD instead of the BBS02.
I read in another post on this board that the newer BBS02 (post 2018) have the upgraded controllers including the sturdier mosfets.
Has anyone done the ( BBS02 Mosfet Controller Mods ) ?
I just got my bbs02 with the 52volt battery installed and if I have any problem I will give this mod a try. I'm thinking of doing it before I have a problem. Also the temperature probe mod.
Thats what I want to know too
