Carbon bikes do not, in my opinion, make very good ebikes. You definitely do not want to put a hub motor on it—-torque becomes a great problem. Mid drive motors require clamping to carbon-not a good idea either. The bottom bracket is the weak point . Cracking is almost inevitable. Rarely is a graphite frame bottom bracket reinforced enough to withstand the cracking stress. The DD70 was an affordable bike, but at what cost? Stay with Steel or Aluminum for a Mid drive conversion.
Oh! O.K. It will work if the bottom bracket fits. May need to purchase 100mm or 120mm width adapter. Chain ring alignment may be a problem as well. May also need spacers which come in 2mm increments (stack of four). Longer bolts will also be needed. Johnny has it all.
Great thank you
