Hi, I have successfully converted an older Trek hybrid bike with the Bafang BBS02 in 2022 and have enjoyed commuting on it (25 mi round trip). Last year I picked up a Yuba Supermarche front-loader cargo bike for a great price and am wanting to convert it too. I've seen at least two other conversions with the Bafang BBS02, and seems to be rather straight-forward (see pic). I'd prefer to use a DM02 in lieu of the Bafang, since the torque-sensing should make such a large bike easy to control (less jumpy acceleration). Any Idea if the motor clearance is similar between the two? I want to make sure it will clear the bottom of frame. I understand this mounting will limit ground clearance, but I am not too concerned since my riding is on nicely paved trails and streets.
