Bafang Mid Drive for my 100mm Bottom Bracket

This is my 1st eBike conversion project and I have difficulties on selecting the right/standard Bafang Mid Drive for my existing 100mm bottom bracket MTB.

Is it true that the only option for the 100mm BB is the Bafang BBSHD 48V/52V 1000watt?

Is there any option for Bafang 750watt mid drive?

Appreciate any advice.

Good news! The Bafang BBS02 now comes in 100mm lengths. Some sellers on Ebay now have them. I didn't believe it when I first saw them but I have now confirmed with both an ebay seller and my own Bafang direct supplier.

yes the BBS02 750w as far as i know only has the standard BB length, 68mm option. 100/120mm BBs are for fat bikes, and thus a BBSHD is more suitable.

One other question: for that specific BBSHD motor, can I chose any 48V or 52V battery with 14~20Ah? or does it need a specific battery/brand?

yes you can choose any battery you want. make sure the dimensions will fit in your frame. 52v is recommended in general and for a bbshd. you want to make sure the battery has anderson connectors to match the bafang motor's.

Sorry Fitz, one other question wrt the cell in the battery pack:

Is it true that the 21700 battery cell is better than the 18650 battery cell?

If yes, how big is the difference and whether or not we should consider this type of battery cells in selecting the battery pack?
