This is my first ebike project so I know absolutely nothing, I just wrestled the cup and cone chainset out of the bottom bracket on my beloved intended frame and it was HARD. The threads on the cups have an OD of 34.75mm, I read on some other posts that if the diameter of the bracket is bigger than 34mm I'll need an adapter to keep the BBS02 snug. I can't see anything like that to buy. I see the housing on the hand-drawn diagram (haha) in the shop indicates it is 31mm in diameter so this is going to be a very thin walled (1.8mm) adapter. Is this frame going to work, what do I need to get to make it work? The bracket is 68mm wide which seems somewhat "standard".
thanks in advance
James
I was so proud I figured out correctly that the drive-side cup was left-hand thread, please be gentle if you're going to tell me this is hopeless
BBS02 fit very snugly in this sized bottom bracket hole, no moving around at all.
