Hi All,
I came across Johnny's videos on youtube and really enjoy them. I am vision impaired with cone rod dystrophy, and am thinking of trying to get a bike and do a conversion. I am a bit of a newbie and think it would be better to do on a new bike than my old Schwinn 3 speed coffee bike. I would only use the bike on side streets going to store, greenway trails, and riding along large grass fields near my house. I am thinking a fat tire / mountain type bike with an improved front suspension might be best. I am thinking this will give me a more stable ride when it comes to riding in thick grass, crevices along sidewalks, going up / down curbs, and dealing with unseen holes / potholes in the road / ground.
Any advice on which would be best? I want to keep my budget below 2500 all in. Thanks in advance for any and all advice, and please pardon if I left important details / factors or things to consider out.
