Carbon frame is a no-go. the way that Bafang motors attach to the fram is essentially by clamping onto it. you could severely damage the frame if you do so. Sorry, nice bike though!
im 54 and 290pds after mid drive 1000w or more? / 17 or 21ah large color screen / 46 tooth, johnny im sure you can get all this cheaper than me, im happy to pay you additional $150usd + post, for your recommendations to do supply parts as you would do your own. i run roadish rims and tyres its urban and gentle trail use only. Is the carbon frame a concern? or are some bike shops locked into selling me a new e-trance etc for obvious reasons, i would have thought the carbon frame could take it as its over speced surely for what i want to use it for, But i get a lot of hand waiving and different directional forces as an explanation why its not a good idea, i get it on a roadbike could be relevent but not so much a MTB, what do you think? wanna do a show on it ? and shoot us an email with your reccommendations and pricing as im keen to start, thanx dee from Oz. deantucker007@gmail.com
