All great points to consider.
I'm using it on road commuter style.
The gearing on my bike has a 30t front gear and 12 gears at the rear.
I guess one issue i am concerned about is once I install the hd kit , how the gear lines up with the rear gears.
Most of those points are answered by your use case. Questions to ask yourself: Does the bike fit me properly? ie is it optimal for a conversion? Mostly commuting flat terrain?
Hill climbing or all terrain use? 42T front chainring is ideal here
How much range do I need on a charge?
Youll want a 10 speed rear cassette ideally but others can work. Youll go with the 68mm motor option, if theres a 5mm gap youll need a shim.
