The snow is melting here, and I thought I'd check out my bike and make sure everything survived the winter. I was able to connect the Eggrider display - not always easy - and there was a firmware update. That failed part way through. The display is stuck on the update screen even after removing the battery for a period of time. The app seems to connect but the update fails right away. Photos attached. Anyone else dealt with this? I also posted to the Eggrider Facebook group.

I solved the hung firmware update. I pried the + button and that had no effect for me. Plan Z involved deleting the current version of the Android app and sideloading the previous version to my phone. I heated up the display gently with a hot-air gun, removed my watch which has 3 or 4 radio transmitters, powered off my phone and started from scratch. It crapped out once part way through the firmware upload, I restarted, including completely powering off my phone, and it resumed the upload and finished 🙂 I updated the Android app to current. Going for a ride!
