I have a 2019 Salsa Timberjack and I'm encountering some challenges with the installation. The Timberjack features a 73mm bottom bracket and has Boost Spacing, which is creating clearance issues with the standard 46T Bafang chainring—the chainring is making contact with the chainstay. I'm currently using the smallest available spacer to ensure the motor does not touch the bottom bracket, but the interference persists. As a result, I’m considering switching to a smaller chainring, likely a 42T or 36T, in hopes that it will resolve the clearance issue.
