I have an ebike with a mid drive 750 watt Bafang. It came with a 32T front spocket and 11-28 rear. I like the 33 mph high end speed but need better climbing. My plan is to obtain a 11-40T cassette. Will the Altus handle that bigger low gear sprocket or will I have to use a road link or switch the rear derailer out for one (which one) to handle a 40T or 42T cassette?
