and motor cover. This motor requires a 72v battery. Please see the available 72v we carry in the Battery section. We recommend one with at least 150a continuous output rating, anything less will cause problems.

This motor has a built in clutch that allows you to hook up your existing clutch.

Please understand that the nominal rating of this motor is 5,000w but the peak power is closer to 25,000w (when paired with the right battery.)

With a gearbox, tons of power is not necessary as you are able to utilize the gearbox to achieve power. With that being said, this motor is a realistic power output of up to a 500cc 4 stroke. Dont expect too much more than that.

The motor will accommodate up to a 19t sprocket, but just barely. It has a tendency to scrape a little. An 18t is a better choice if you want a big front gear and still clear the housing.

Controller comes already optimally programmed out of the box. Throttle response is smooth and natural.

Depending gearing and weight of weight including rider, a top speed of 60-75 mph is realistic.
