By going with a HD Single speed setup, you eliminate the need to shift gears, so you can focus on riding. It also eliminates additional drivetrain components ie: more things to break. At the core of the wheel is the Wren Extreme Hub, built to handle the power of the X1 Pro. Paired with a 20t Reverse Single speed Cog.

Trade-offs of running Single Speed? No additional gears limit the specific power to the wheels. So if you want to pin-point the power to either low speed (hill climbing) or Top end, you may want to consider using the CYC 5 speed setup.
