The 8ah Battery uses the 3-pin mini-xlr charging connecting.

the battery also features an on/off switch to prevent connecting the battery "Live" which can damage electronics. 

The battery uses Samsung 40T cells with a 50a BMS. The Photon is rated at 40a max so is a good pairing.
