WHY SINGLESPEED?

Gearbox driven bikes, as well as many urban-focused mid-drive ebikes without
gearboxes, don't require cassettes, derailleurs, shifters and all that faff. Compared to
singlespeed setups, traditional drivetrains, are maintenance heavy and lack durability.

Additionally, traditional rear hubs use asymmetrical hub flanges, which leads to weaker overall wheelsmithing. By reducing the freehub length, we are able to make a symmetrical hub flanged rear hub, allowing for extra stout wheel builds.

By redesigning our hub with singlespeed configurations explicitly in mind, we are able to
widen the body of the hub shell and reduce stresses to the freehub interface. Mirroring our other chromoly star ratchet freehubs but in a mini Shimano HG interface, we offer a clean package and perfect chainline that is the strongest freehub driver on the market.
