I have 2 Sun Seeker recumbents, will a mid drive work with such a long chain? Any specific kits I should consider?

I have 2 Sun Seeker recumbents, will a mid drive work with such a long chain? Any specific kits I should consider?
I used the bafang bbso2 on my greenspeed gt20 recumbent, search the forum. Works wonderfully, no issue with chain. I have over 500 miles on it so far, highly recommend the eggrider to calm down the motor.
