I bought this 20" fat-tire for my wife; the bike is pretty basic and low-priced. It works but I'm not happy with the controller. It has three levels of PA and the minimum speed is about 11 mph which is too fast. Throttle is 100% required to get the bike going. I'd like to replace the controller with one offering more PS levels so that I could get a minimum speed of about 4-5 mph PA and I'd like to add an LCD display system showing speed, remaining battery, etc.

Is there anything available for making a mod like this that will show explicit wiring instructions? The reseller does not offer anything like this, only suggesting a change to their controller wiring to get a minimum speed of about 8. (But not saying exactly how to do this.)
