HD chainline

Hey there I'm new to this, and in the works of modifying my Northrock XCF with a BBSHD. I've watched many of Johnnies videos and now wondering with the 10 speed cassette what is suggested for a chain ring set up for the best chain line.

depends on your use case / terrain/ mostly flat commuting, easy trails, or do you need steep climbing torque for mtns and hills? depends on your rear cassette tooth ratio - 11-42? 11-36t? i got a 10 speed 11-36t cogs, shimano SLX deraileur, the 42T lekkie blingring is great for climbing and all terrain, 46-52t would be a bit better suited for flatter easier terrain. either are good. you want your front chainring spaced off the chain stay about 1/8 to 1/4 inch, at least for me...
