HP Velotechnik FS26

Hello all,

I bought this trike with a factory installed hub motor, called the S-Pedelec. I went to load the app. but it"s not supported any more, bummer.Can I convert with out a special frame tube. I was thinking of going to a pinon drive on the front but maybe I 'll convert mid-drive if I can just hang it off the existing tube.

Has anyone done this?

(why are they mid-drive on trikes? looks like the front to me.)
