I have a Niner Rip carbon fiber full suspension mountain bike, great shocks, great brakes, just a great bike

that I am considering a bafang mid drive conversion. The LBS pointed out that the carbon fiber frame may not handle the added torque for this build and run the risk of busting up the frame. It's a great bike that I don't use so much so I'm so so so temped to convert it and ride the heck out of it but certainly need to concern myself with safety. Anybody have a thought on this?
