Looking for the right controller for Heng Tai Motor
I just got the fat tire trike you see in the picture from a Local Bike Shop for next to nothing. They didn't have time to complete the build. It's really just missing a battery and a controller for the motor.
The motor is a Heng Tai - Serial Number HT-YF48V500WN1906QS0841-041. Any ideas on how to source a controller? Also is this only a 500W motor? I'm concerned it won't be enough in the hilly area where I live. Thoughts?

Thanks for clarifying the purpose of this forum. The guys at the local bike shop literally gave me this bike. I thought there might be someone who had knowledge of the hub motor in question. Perhaps there is another forum that you know of that might? If not, it's easy enough to get a hub motor conversion for a about $200 off Ebay. A mid drive motor will not fit on this particular trike due to the frame design.
